[NEWS] Heartstrings' Rainbow Photoshoot with Park Shin Hye & Jung Yong Hwa

MBC new drama Heartstrings unveils a delightful rainbow-colored poster shoot of its cast.

 The photoshoot was done in advance on May 25th with lead actors Jung Yonghwa(Lee Shin), Park Shin Hye(Lee Kyu Won) and supporting actors Song Chang Ui, Kang Minhyuk, So Yi Hyeon..etc.

All gathered in one place, it was the very first group photoshoot of the cast. The atmosphere was described to be incredibly pleasant as the entire cast exhibited strong teamwork in the preparatino stages of the birth of the drama.

Male lead Jung Yong Hwa, who plays guitar prodigy Lee Shin, stated, “It’s the first time all eight of us got together for a shoot. It was awkward at first, but we quickly became good friends and had a lot of fun.”

Park Shin Hye, who plays Lee Shin’s love interest Lee Gyu Won, added, “I was worried because I was filming a scene where I was crying all night long the night before this poster shoot. However, both the cast and crew on set complemenet each other really well, and we were able to create a fresh-looking poster.”

Actor Song Chang Ui, the oldest of the four leads and the playmaker of the project, said, “I was able to get a general feel of what our drama will be like through this poster shoot.”

Last Thursday Shin Hye and Yonghwa teamed up as award presenters at the 47th Paeksang Arts Awards. Details: 

Melodrama “Heartstrings” is about young love, friendships, dreams, and love. It’s a family friendly drama that can be enjoyed by viewers of any age. “Heartstrings” will air its first episode on June 29^th on MBC.

[NEWS] Park Shin Hye & Jung Yong Hwa Talk About Their Reunion In “You’ve Fallen For Me”

Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa have revealed their thoughts about reuniting for MBC‘s “You’ve Fallen For Me” (english title: Heartstrings).

The two stars are playing Lee Kyu Won, a talented Kayageum player, and Lee Shin, the vocalist of a handsome band, respectively. They are reuniting for the first time in two years after having acted in SBS‘s “You’re Beautiful” together in 2009.

In the drama, Jung Yonghwa acted in the role of a character who loved Park Shin Hye. Unfortunately, their love was unsuccessful at the end, with Park Shin Hye falling in love with another character.

Jung Yonghwa has said about his former character, “In the previous drama, I played the role of a daddy-long-legs who always stood behind Park Shin Hye and watched her silently while doing everything for her. As a man, I thought he was a very cool character, but I was disappointed when he kept losing his chances of confessing his love for her.”

He added, “This time, I’m somewhat proud that I’m playing the role of Lee Shin, who is a little better at expressing emotions and playing jokes than Lee Kyu Won. I’m very excited and curious as to what stories they’ll make together.”

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye has stated about her role, “In the previous work, I only got things [from Jung Yong Hwa's character] one-sidedly, but this time, I have to tend to Lee Shin as if it were a revenge story of Jung Yonghwa. Please anticipate not only our story, but other characters’ complicated relationships as well.”

“You’ve Fallen For Me” captures the story of students who attend an arts college and portrays their love and friendships. It is set to start airing on June 29th, following “The Greatest Love“.
